It would be good if the title is “Education is important for all.” But, it is regretting that we have to coin this ‘female education term to make people understand the importance of female education. It is so because there has been always a bad tendency to suppress women since the earth’s beginning. It was deemed that education is only for men; women are not allowed to educate themselves. But our society consists of both men and women. So, it is true that if both men and women are not educated, the overall development of society would go in vain. Educating girls has a wide-ranging impact on individuals and society. Women have always been experiencing oppression, suppression because of their ignorance. If they get an education, they will be aware of their rights and responsibilities. No one can fool them. They will be able to do good for their family, society, and country. Educated women can play a significant role in the development of the world. Napoleon rightly said ‘gives me an educated mother, I will give you an education nation.” If a mother is educated, she can take good care of her child’s education, and give them proper guidance to be a good human. Being, moreover, educated women can play a significant role in the economical growth of their country involving themselves in money-making businesses, or services. Our government has made girls’ education free up to the graduate programs to encourage female education. The government also gives priority to women candidates in some selected jobs to motivate women in receiving education. Educating girls, we utilize our vast human resources that eventually bring positive changes to our country. So, female education is a must if we want to be a developed country.
Education is a basic human right and necessary. It widens our outlook and enlightens our souls. Irrespective of caste, creed, race, gender, and religion, education is equally important. For the development of a country, paramount importance should be given to education. But regrettably, women have been experiencing negligence since the very beginning of human civilization. They are deprived of their basic right- education. Some opines that women are inferior to men. So, their only job is to give birth to children, serve husbands, and do the household-works. They don’t let women educate themselves. But, women are also integral to a nation. No nation can earn success to let its half population remain uneducated. Education has a wide-ranging impact on individuals and society and so does female education. If women get proper education, they will be aware of their rights and responsibilities. They will perform their duties skillfully. If a mother is educated, she definitely can take good care of her child. With proper guidance, she can turn them to be good citizens- the absolute necessity for the development of a country. Napoleon truly said, ‘ give me an educated mother, I will give you an educated nation’. Moreover, educated women can compete with men in every sphere of life. An educated woman can also assist her family financially, as they easily get a job or be an entrepreneur. Education will make them skilled and confident. Thus, female education can bring positive changes in a country. Our government has already taken some steps to encourage women in receiving education. Our government has made primary education up to class 8 free and compulsory for girls. Last but not the least, women also get priorities in some selected jobs to inspire them in receiving education. The benefits of female education will outweigh the costs. Female education is a must for the development of a society or country.
